64 Tasting Notes
I don’t like mulberry magic, and I was hesitant in buying this but I didn’t want to be closed-minded so I got 15 grams. Which btw turned out to give me a lot damn more than I thought. This foil bag is almost full honestly.
First sip:
At first impression, I think I like this over mulberry magic. Definitely something I find more nutty and creamy than M.M.
Definitely get the pistachio in this. In M.M I couldn’t taste the macadamia nuts and I love the fact that at least this delivers what it’s described to taste like.
At first, I liked M.M and then started to slowly hate it and I hope that won’t happen with this tea because my 15 g bag of M.M is still sitting in my little corner and I’m going to try to finish it up. Now P.C seems like something I will want to drink once in while and I won’t have too much trouble finishing up this sample.
Not sure if this is a rebuy but i had no trouble finishing my cup by the time I finished writing this.
I really enjoy this tea right now. I’m so sick and I believe ginseng is supposed to be good for your throat so here I am. This tea tastes buttery in a good way. I drink it with a teeny bit of brown sugar because the ginseng can taste a little awkward for my palette. I don’t like the aftertaste. I have to sip it again in order to get rid of it. tastes like those sweet n low packets aftertaste my dad used to use when we’d go for breakfast. Not perfect but still a good tea
First sip:
I didn’t think this would taste coffeeish more than fruity, but it does. Tastes like a lighter version of coffee puerh.
I put it in to steep for a little longer just to see if more of the fruitiness will come out. After doing so, I can kinda taste the tartness of the hibiscus. But to me it’s just a lighter version of coffee puerh. Which I don’t mind, it’s just not as amazing as it should be with this amount of ingredients
This tea was actually the completion to my biggest fear mission ever. Let me explain, the way I first got into drinking tea was drinking china green tips by tazo that my mother brought home one day. After buying it over and over again I thought that personally it was way too expensive and I was spending way too much on it. After doing some research I saw that I could lower my cost with buying it loose leaf. I tried going through many a type of green tea as I couldn’t find the exact taste I was going for since googling the type it was wasn’t so successful and I was still new to the team game so I had a lot of trial and error times but finally I found this. This is label led as a Mao jian, but now knowing that tazo is a Mao feng? I’m still quite confused as if Mao feng and Mao jian is the same thing. Because buying the teavana Mao feng they are the exact same just this is at a much lower price point. If anyone can explain that I’d be so thankful. Anyways, without all this I wouldn’t have come to love all my new acquired tea loves. This tea is nutty, not too vegetal which I like and has rich notes that make me go ahhhhh. love love love it. It will always have a special place in my heart
It’s a good rich black tea. But that’s all it is. I don’t get any notes of coconut, toffee, maybe I get a weeeeeee bit of caramel since it does taste rich and sweet. That’s not to say it’s not a good tea or one that I won’t repurchase because most likely I’ll pick up a 15 g bag once in a while when I feel it or finish the 15 g I have. But it’s just a sweet black tea to me.
Weird smelling tea, good smelling but weird. I know that doesn’t make sense but oh well lool. But I feel the same way about it’s taste. It’s creamy and great iced with milk and sugar. I tried putting it in my smoothie instead of milk and it’s really good that way. It’s an odd yet exceptional tea.
