27 Tasting Notes
As someone who loves chocolate but generally is a little disappointed with Chocolate-based teas, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, but took a chance because of the blueberries in the description. Although it isn’t an everyday favourite for me, I definitely think that if you want a rich, flavourful tea, that isn’t sweet (although with some sugar I bet it would be great too!) – this is a great option. It isn’t bitter but it is definitely a dark chocolate that comes through. Nice for when you need to indulge in something that tastes rich and decadent :D
Flavors: Blueberry, Cocoa, Dark Chocolate
I like this tea. It is enjoyable to drink. However, it is not nearly as impressive as I hoped it would be, especially considering how expensive it is! I had high hopes that this does not quite satisfy.
To make matters worse, I constantly over-steep this tea (my fault, not the teas fault)… However, if I want a nice floral tea I think next time I would go with The Glow or something that won’t be so easy to screw up, because this one is alright but didn’t super impress me.
Flavors: Cherry, Coconut, Floral, Rose
I bought a fair amount of this, thinking I would really like it – but it took me a while to warm up to it! I think that was mostly because of my horrid former habit of over-steeping EVERYTHING! Now that I take more care with that, I have found I actually do enjoy this tea! It isn’t my favourite – perhaps because I tend to go with bolder flavours… BUT it is quite lovely, particularly when you want something light with some pep to it! Perhaps wouldn’t rush to buy more, but I definitely have appreciated having it!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Ginger, Peppercorn
I am a big fan of this one – the mango, pomegranate is a delightful blend, heavy on the mango… it is also great no matter what time of year! I believe this was a spring collection tea, but on a chilly fall day it is warming and entirely satisfying! When I first got this tea, they had already ran out so I had to get a bunch of the small tins just to get my hands on it – WORTH IT!
Flavors: Mango, Pineapple
I think I read another reviewer call this tea scrumptious and I think that is the perfect word for it! It is creamy and coconutty and sweet from the mulberries… Very yummy! The only negative thing I could say about it, is that since I literally had Chocolate Macaroon just yesterday, which is also coconutty and which I am IN LOVE WITH… then this one doesn’t quite measure up for me. But that is only because I love Chocolate Macaroon SO MUCH and if I hadn’t just had it, I wouldn’t be comparing it so directly!
Flavors: Caramel, Coconut
In a word – this tea is PERFECT! I LOVE this tea! Honestly I can’t believe how well it lives up to it’s name – I had high hopes and they were well surpassed by this tea! I am a huge fan of deserts, and of all the so-called “desert teas,” this is the only tea I can imagine truly satisfying the cravings of my sweet tooth!
No need to sweeten this tea!
Flavors: Almond, Chocolate, Coconut
