This tea surprised me as I am not normally a fan of floral tasting teas. It reminded me of a pleasent spring walk through a forest. It had no roast notes, instead replaced with almost a fresh moss. Slightly astringent towards the end, slight bitterness as well.

I’m currently on my fourth brewing (Forgot to count this time!) Not exactly sure how much leaves I used and my timings were all over the place as I opted to not use a timer. I’d recommend this tea to anyone who likes the flavor, but I don’t think I would buy this tea beyond drinking this sample thereof

It tastes quite thick, with some faint wood and nutty notes just being overshadowed by this thoroughly dry mouth feel. It’s one of the older teas I have ever sampled, and it’s definitely interesting. I once got a hint of menthol on a sip which was unexpected in my second steep. It is an interesting tea, always worth tasting history

an absolutely wonderful tea. I wish they had a sample set to go through all of the roasting options available

Excellent tea, it reminds me a lot of the taste/smell of smoked cherry wood. I regret not buying more and hoarding it

It’s an incredible tea, I will say I prefer the Winter Pick to the Spring pick, as I find that the winter pick has a bit more caramel and nutty taste
