This is decent, but I wish it didn’t already have stevia in it. I like to be able to sweeten or not depending on my preferences for the day. That said, it has a great blueberry flavor and is probably one of the best blueberry teas. Also loving that it is organic and inexpensive- if you are looking for something fresh and fruity, this is a great choice. Happy Saturday!

This is great for so many prep methods too: Iced/Cold Brew, Latte, Tea Soda, infused into alcohol…

I tried to order Blueberry Green from Harney today and it wasn’t on the site! :(

Nightshifter

Infused into alcohol sounds lovely for this cold and rainy day. Going to try! Also, sucks about H&S. Sometimes you can e-mail them and they will locate it for you at a store that can ship.

drank Creamy Eggnog by Butiki Teas
251 tasting notes

I love this tea and I am coveting my last little tiny bit. I think I have enough for another pot.. maybe. Anyway, it is not too spicy and has a lovely buttery, creamy base that brings just the right amount of thickness to my palate to make me think of eggnog without all of the calories. I don’t think there is a tea out there that is a perfect match, but this one does a really good job. It is almost a year old and the flavors are still strong and lovely. Sad I won’t be able to get this anymore, but glad I have been able to enjoy it!

So I was totally enamored with this tea, but unfortunately I think the flavor is fading with age significantly. Now it tastes like a sweet, mild green tea with a hint of creamy nuttiness instead of the rich, amazing tea that brewed up in the past. I can’t really be too disappointed because it is almost a year old, but I do already miss how amazing it used to be. I’d still recommend it even so, it was THAT good.

This is a lovely dragon well that is also organic! I’m always excited when I find a good organic tea. Sadly most of my favorites are not, but I can’t help but to wonder about what the leaves might have been sprayed with or the soil treated with when I drink non-organic at times. I digress though- the dry leaf on this one is light green, airy, and pressed. The smell is more grassy and savory than some of my other recently reviewed straight greens, but still in a very pleasant way. The liquor is clear light yellow-green and there is no oil or film. The taste is very fresh- cucumber slices and crisp snow peas in a broth. I can see how someone might say this one is floral, but I am not getting flowers myself personally. It makes me think of a winter/early spring harvest. Lettuce, chard, snow peas, all manner of cool weather crops. Great tea for a 29 degree morning here in Georgia. Happy Friday fellow Steepsters!

I could have sworn I’d reviewed this one before because I remember this lovely taste and fragrance. I must stay that Teavivre is my go-to for good straight green teas and I like that they list whether the caffeine is low or higher on their site, too. The dry leaf is dark green, a touch curly, thicker than the Bi Lo Chun from yesterday. It smells fresh, green, light, airy, and floral. The brewed tea is a pretty clear sunshine liquor and smells more green and distinctively Huang Shan Mao Feng for lack of a better description. I know that’s helpful. :P This tea has a special flavor that is for sure floral with perhaps a touch of green beans or another fresh green and crisp veggie. It is also light, with a touch of sweet and mineral that is not bitter at all. All I can say is that it is an enjoyable cup and Happy Tuesday! :)

Having a health issue that requires low caffeine for the time being, which sadly keeps me from my morning black. Fortunately, I found this one in the cupboard and made me happy again! Naturally sweet without being overly so, tangy, a hint of floral and a touch of citrus at the very end of each sip that is not bitter at all. It is a straight green, so there is a touch of grass and broth, but this is one I would call almost fruity as far as straight greens go. Additionally, the dry leaf is so gorgeous- dark olive fluffy, downy curls!

drank Coconut Grove by DAVIDsTEA

I realize this is a summer tea but I needed something white/low caffine and I only have a few to choose from. It is actually probably the best coconut tea I’ve had. It is straight up creamy coconut with the mild white base. Came out great hot and was nice to finish off when cool later on as well. Clear olive liquor that had a slight film on the top, presumably from the actual coconut flakes mixed in. Nothing too complicated about this blend, but if you are looking for a decent coconut, hopefully they will bring it back around another summer sometime.

Sad sipdown! I overleafed today because I had a bit more than the recommended amount left in the bag. It came out beautifully, though this is the end of a great tealationship. I really enjoyed the sweet almond blend and think it was one of my favorite from Butiki. Like with anything else though, eventually all good things must draw to a close.

Had this last night, but Steepster was acting up. This is another decent herbal blend from an inexpensive grocery store purchase. Vanilla and chamomile feature with a tiny touch of honey. This is a soothing mug and a great way to end a night when I have a cold. I think I still prefer the Vanilla Sleepytime personally as it is more complex and the overall flavor appeals to me more, but I already drank the whole box and this is what I have left. Still a good one when you need something calming in a jiffy. :)

I really like this one. It’s one of my go to comfort teas when I’m sick.

I’ve tried this one twice now and as a smores addict (it is one of my favorite treats), I am (sadly) not really enjoying this tea for the most part. The most prominent flavor/smell is that of a smokey campfire, so that part is absolutely nailed. Beyond that, I am tasting pine and strong cinnamon without any of the chocolate or graham that I would associate with smores. It is an interesting blend and I don’t hate it or anything, but it isn’t what I expected. It does brew a lovely autumn deep orange with clear liquor. It is very warming with the prominent woods and spice. The tea leaves themselves are long and look to be of high quality, but maybe it needs more marshmallow root and Fujian black? Just guessing here though. I also tried it with milk, but without the cocoa or other sweet notes associated with a dessert blend, I didn’t find it any closer to what I was hoping for. I’m going back to my trusty favorites like GO and Cocoa Amore, which are simply amazing.

Cinnamon in S’mores? I don’t get it…

Nightshifter

I saw in the description it was supposed to be cinnamon graham crackers, but I didn’t get anything like that or cocoa- just cinnamon/wood/smoke. :(

Indigobloom

Bleh. I don’t think I’d like that either

Tabby

I thought the exact same thing about this tea! Where’s the marshmallow?
