Day 18 of the Plum Deluxe herbal advent calendar and so so tasty. I was skeptical about this flavor combo – floral and chocolate? But actually it works really well! Which makes sense, I like rose & chocolate as a flavor combo. I think it was specifically the lavender that threw me because lavender doesn’t have that sweetness that rose or even chamomile does. But! This combo works here! The lavender is strong and very floral, tiptoeing up to soapy territory but not actually getting there. The chocolate is robust and thankfully not oily. The overall effect is that I feel like I’m sipping a special, indulgent, relaxing treat.
