26 Tasting Notes
As soon as you open the can, you get a whiff of lemon and happiness. With the bright cheery tin and the luscious smell, you feel your mood lifting with every sniff. And thankfully, this tea tastes as good as it smells. It’s good plain, it’s fantastic with a spoonful of honey (any kind), and even if it steeps too long or it gets cold, it’s still yummy. Will be buying more of this again before I run out!
Preparation
I’ve been having issues sleeping lately, so I decided to try this tea out. First time steeping it, and I added a small amount of blackberry honey to it. I do feel a bit more relaxed. I enjoy the minty aftertaste, but I can’t discern any of the other flavors. I don’t think the blend tastes well, so I’ll probably experiment with adding milk, lemon, and sugar.
Preparation
I got this in the mail as a free sample with my order, and I love it!!! I love how pronounced the cinnamon and cloves are. I don’t taste any of the candid fruits, but that’s alright. I normally don’t like chai teas, but this one is amazing. I like it hot, with a bit of sugar added. I haven’t tried it cold yet.
Preparation
I’ve always wanted to try a Disney tea, and my friend bought this as a souvenir for me while on vacation in Disney World! I’m not usually a fan of black teas, and the description reminded me of an Earl Grey tea. I steeped it and added a small amount of cinnamon honey to it. I taste the orange and the bergamont. It has a bit of an artificial aftertaste to it. I’m not real impressed. I might drink a few more cups, and I’ll certainly keep the tin, but I wouldn’t buy it.
Preparation
After spending some time in Marrakech,I fell in love with their mint tea and have tried to find a tea that tastes just as good!! As a lover of all things mint including mint teas, I have bought this tea multiple times from Teavana. With some sugar, it makes the perfect minty hot tea; or I can make a delicious iced tea with it. This is one of my top 5 teas to drink.
Preparation
I actually enjoy this tea! Awhile back, while browsing for a new tea to try, the sales clerk suggested that I try the Joie de Vivre tea. He brewed it with just a tiny pinch of sugar and served it hot. It was delicious! I don’t think it smells very good…but I rather enjoy the taste. With notes of peach and grape, and a few others that I can’t identify, I do enjoy drinking this tea before bed. I’ve had it iced as well and it tasted just as smooth. While it was enjoyable, not sure I would buy it again after my 2 oz are gone.
