I drank this right after drinking Marriage Frères Pleine Lune today. I guess I was in the mood for almond! I feel like if I combined these both together, it would be my ideal almond tea. This was excellent, not at all artificial tasting, but could have used something to make it taste sweeter and more marzipan-like. Before I read that this had cinnamon in it, I was interpreting the cinnamon sweetness as fruitiness. It’s so interesting how expectation changes how you experience things…I think I might like an almond tea with some raspberry or strawberry so it would taste like those almond cookies with the jam in the middle.

Preparation
Boiling 4 min, 0 sec 5 tsp 24 OZ / 709 ML

Tea means so many things to me, it is so deep and it is revealing new meaning to me all the time.

Tea is a mindfulness practice, and a doorway through which to explore different philosophies, cultures, and historical times. Tea is hospitality and a way of communion. Tea is an art, a ritual, and a tradition. Tea is a complement to the foods I eat (preferably vegan desserts) and is something I enjoy collecting and curating.

I love to swap, or even just send people samples, so if there’s anything in my cupboard you’d like to try, just send me a message!
