I’ve just been in a mood recently where I’ve been loving every tea I’ve been drinking. I guess I’m just learning what I don’t like and what to avoid more. I got a sample of this from David’s Tea a while back, and now I’m finally trying it. I’m holding back on rating this one because I am getting all of these great notes that are delicious- vegetal and buttery, but I am also getting a lemony aftertaste, which I’m worried may have been from my infuser, which I cleaned with bit of lemon juice yesterday. Oh well. I know this is something I definitely want to try again.

Flavors: Bok Choy, Butter, Grass

160 °F / 71 °C 3 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

Tea means so many things to me, it is so deep and it is revealing new meaning to me all the time.

Tea is a mindfulness practice, and a doorway through which to explore different philosophies, cultures, and historical times. Tea is hospitality and a way of communion. Tea is an art, a ritual, and a tradition. Tea is a complement to the foods I eat (preferably vegan desserts) and is something I enjoy collecting and curating.

I love to swap, or even just send people samples, so if there’s anything in my cupboard you’d like to try, just send me a message!
