It is produced in China’s Fujian province during early spring, by carefully selecting only the finest tender top bud and two leaves. These leaves are then left to dry naturally in the sun. This results in a unique nutty almost bamboo like fragrance and a sweet, mellow taste. This truly is one of the most exquisite teas you can buy and an absolute pleasure to drink, whats more, white teas are now recognised as being higher in Antioxidants and lower in caffeine then Green tea. Because these leaves are so light an Infuser or Teapot would benefit, it will also mean you can easily keep your leaves for a second infusion.
