From Savoy Tea Co

Very rarely does a tea inspire a ballet- we can only think of three. So when we heard that this amazing green tea blend of fruity fineness was the muse of the soon to be famous “Fruit Loose” Ballet, we could not have been more honored.

We have to say though…the costumes took us by surprise.

Ingredients:
Sencha Green Tea,
Organic Calendula Petals

I have been craving something low-caf or decaf and lemony, so this caught my eye when we were at Savoy last week. Alas and alack, there is definitely a lack of lemon here—it’s a decent sencha base with flavoring that’s kinda raspberry, kinda Hawaiian Punch. It’ll be a tasty summer cooler on ice, but not what the name led me to expect.

No lemon? Sad!

Sipdown! (3 | 200)

Got my Savoy order, which was mostly full of samples. Also grabbed a tin of Squash Buckling Chai, because it was sold out when I wanted to buy it last year, and I want it for fall!

Anyway, this one wasn’t for me. The berry has that chalky taste to it that I sometimes find in berry flavoring. Overall it just tastes a bit vague and generic, and the Chinese sencha base isn’t helping things either.

So sort of tastes like lemon and berry Tums-flavored dry grass.
