Topsy Turvy Tea Blend

Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a bit of this tea. I am so glad I got to try it because I’ve been really curious about these Disney Teas. I love Disneyland, I love just about everything Disney, so I am thrilled to be able to try some of their teas!

Unfortunately, while I think that Disney can do many things right, I don’t think that tea is one of them. This is just sorta alright. I taste the bergamot and the orange, but the bergamot tastes kind of funky to me. It doesn’t taste like the exotic bergamot I’m used to tasting in high quality Earl Grey blends. This tastes more like … soda pop orange flavor in a tea.

It’s alright, I’m enjoying it and I’ll certainly finish the cup, but, this tea certainly won’t be the reason I want to go to Disneyland.

I have tried about a half dozen other Disney teas and I have liked them for the most part. I thought I had tried this one but it was actually one of the others ones I was thinking of. It’s also been a while since I have had any Disney Tea to sip on so I am very thankful for this!

The black tea base is a sturdy-medium strength and the fruity and bergamot flavors are almost as strong as the black tea base, but not quite. The strengths of both the black tea base and the flavors work very well together. There are other fruity notes in addition to the bergamot. The bergamot isn’t overly astringent, tho.

This tea would make Walt proud!

I had a Halloween tea party and someone brought this at a hostess gift(how sweet :D). I love the tin. It seemed appropriate because I was the Cheshire Cat for my costume. Anyways… The tea is nice. Just a simple bergamot and orange. Yum :)

Sip down….well more like a goodbye. Not sure how I drank as much of this as I did, but this was part of my pre holy crap my cupboard is exploding with tea times! Tried to cold brew this and see how it would turn out….yeah. Not that great. Thanks for the good times when I didn’t know better topsy turvy blend :)

First loose leaf tea I have had. It is wonderful. Fruity, citrus, and black tea are a nice combination. The smell of the tea is great!

Although it says it has a medium flavour, I find it quite strong when steeped. Definitely a tea to have with milk and sugar.

The scent of the tea is somewhat exotic to me, and the orange and bergamot really come through.

For being a Disney brand tea, it’s very tasty!

The flavor is a lot stronger than the Mad Tea Party blend, for it being virtually the same just minus one or two ingredients. You also have to be very careful while steeping this one. Leave it in for just barely too long and the flavor is overwhelming.

But in the right doses, it’s a rather nice and dry tea that keeps me going when I have a deadline to meet.

The scent is intoxicating like wonderland itself. It has hints of fruity and citric flavors. I wouldnt steep it for as long as it said, for it became too overbearing but it was a slightly heavy, fruity tea.
