nannuoshan is getting ready for the next tea-travel to China
Driven by the upcoming tea trip, the nannuoshan blog has just opened:

The first contribution is already online; a report on the tasting of one of the most expensive Wuyi Rock Tea: Rougui Niulankeng. Is it worth the price? Check it out here: http://www.nannuoshan.org/blogs/blog/18428375-niu-lan-keng-rougui
In about ten days Michela and I will go to China. I’ll stay only a week, she three. We will report our journey on the blog.
In Shanghai, we will visit some good tea friends. After Shanghai we plan going to Anxi, where we’ll search outstanding Tieguanyin from the recent autumn harvest. Then Michela continue traveling alone, most probably to Yixing and Jingdezhen to learn from the best teaware makers.
I am also curious and a bit skeptical… my rule is: if I cannot taste the difference blind, it’s not even worthy considering the purchase!
Yes, we have already some tea stored in Shanghai for us (one yellow and one green) and also some teaware.
In Anxi we would like to find some top-end Tieguanyin… let’s hope.
And Michela will travel to Jingdezhen and check out for some neat porcelain pottery.
We will be back in spring for more serious tea hunting. This time is more a relaxing trip.
