trouble with Harney and sons website

Anyone else having trouble with Harney and Sons site? Was really slow yesterday when I tried to get on and now error message shows up.

It was really slow for me this weekend as well. I got an error message a few times because the page timed out when it was “thinking” but I was able to reload it. There is probably tonnes of traffic to the site because of the sales.

Yah. They run on Magento and REALLY need a more powerful server. I did manage to get my order in but sheesh. :)

My approach to their website is to multitask so as not to grow too impatient. The pages do load eventually, so one can do things such as make tea while waiting. Lol

I gave up last night, but got on this morning. They didn’t have the sample sizes in stock on the teas I want to try, so I didn’t make an order. H&S strikes out with me again. :/

That’s what usually happens to their site. But don’t worry , they always extend the sale because of it.

I finally got to place an order for about half the samples I wanted to try, and none of the teas are impressing me. For the hassle of placing an order and the mediocre tea I got, it’s just not worth it.

Did you get flavored ones? I don’t think Harney is fantastic at those. But I’ve found their straight teas and especially straight blends are very nice. Especially for the price.

I did get flavored. I think the only one I thought was okay was Tokyo. At this point after this experience and the one in store in NY, I’m giving up on them.
