Secret Santa Interest? SIGN UPS CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never received my Secret Santa package. I understand that things get lost in the mail, but in other Secret Swaps people usually speak up to say that it was sent or that they are sorry it didn’t arrive when they see the person they were to send to post about not receiving package or they contact the organizer to say they sent it if they don’t want to blow the surprise. When nothing is said, it makes you wonder. I would like to know who my Secret Santa was, but I don’t know if it has to be on the feed. It can just be PM to those of us who didn’t get a package. If others really want to know who did not honor their commitment, I’m ok with going with the majority.

Since Steepster names weren’t included in the Secret Santa info, maybe try and resolve the issue privately before publicly posting names?

I’m relieved that the package I sent arrived, but until it did, I didn’t know who I’d sent it to. And I know there were several people who posted about not hearing if their package arrived.

I will go ahead and pm you with your secret santa, TracyC. Are you the only one who didn’t receive? Also, that was part of the guidelines. To put your steepster name on your package you sent out so the person receiving it would know who it’s coming from and come back here and thank their secret santa. Either people didn’t put their steepster name on their package or people just didn’t bother to say thank you.

Holy moly, I came home to a surprise package from AnnaEA! What a great way to end a week. That was so sweet!!! I truly appreciate the kindness. I love David’s Tea and she sent me the sweet indulgence 12 teas box. Amazing. Love it.

I would also like to thank AnnaEa for her Angel duty. Made it all better. Seems like Tracey was the only one done wrong in this secret santa. So thank you again Anna.

You had it direct shipped from Verdant, didn’t you? They should have a record of the order.

I’m pretty sure they received it, otherwise I think they would be on here letting us know they didn’t receive anything.

+1. I’ve been looking forward to something like this this year. But I’m not sure about organizing it myself.

Honestly, you’d probably have to do signups now and only have it open for 7 days with 2 or 3 to figure everything out on your end. Some would need time for shipping of product to get to them, organizing and then time to get from A to B.
It can be done.

Problem with elfster I think is that I’m not sure there’s a masterlist somewhere for the coordinator to see so they can follow up if someone doesn’t get their package. But maybe someone with more experience with it knows better. We just finished up Secret Pumpkin and that’s why I did everything manually. It does take time though.
