Launching a new brand, would like input on logo
I really like 27 (Slight revision from #15), but I prefer the boy from #26. Wish I could combine them.
Number 27 is the cleanest and most modern. (Some of the logos seem to equate “Southern” with “hick;” something to avoid.) The other logos will be a bear (and really expensive) to use for various marketing purposes. The thread count for an embroidered logo of some of the more detailed designs, for example, will make it cost prohibitive. Also, imagine your logo at the smallest and largest it will ever be used. The more detail in a logo, the muddier it gets when reproduced at a small size.
If you are going for more of a clean and professional look that I would say…#27 otherwise if you are going for fun and whimsical I would say…#20 using the font from #26. Hope that helps. Good luck on your decision.
So, there’s no content on the site yet, but what do you guys think of the site design? (I made it myself). http://www.southernboyteas.com
Thanks for mentioning that. I will add that to the FAQs: Why do we have a confederate flag as our favicon?
I know a lot of people associate the flag with racism or politics, but for me, it is just a symbol of where I come from. The South was defeated in the Civil War, but southerners are proud people. Instead of pushing that old flag under the carpet, many southerners display the flag with pride. It is a part of their heritage, just as Hester Prynne’s scarlet letter was a part of hers. I do not see it as a symbol of racism (which I firmly abhor) or separatism. It’s more like wearing the colors and symbols of your alma mater. At least, that’s the way I think of it.
