Butiki Teas: Mystery Teas Revealed!!! Herbs & Spices?
I hope that after blending tea you intend to manufacture sweets. There are some brilliant ideas here that I would love to have in hard candy form. MMM!!
No sweets making for me, I’m afraid. My friend does own a vape company though and he wanted me to do some special blends for him.

I’m kind of on a ‘smoked’ kick lately, and I loved the way you did the Smoked Banana tea (a shame I can’t buy anymore!) so I would excited to see what else can happen with the Lapsang. Smoked _____ Waffle, or Smoked ______ Toffee both intrigue me. So long as a Lapsang blend is good with those flavors, maybe try to fill in either blank by adding Almond, Pistachio, Walnut, Cashew, or Pumpkin. Or if you want to keep it simple, perhaps forego the Waffle/Toffee and just do a Smoked Almond/Pistachio/Walnut/Cashew/Pumpkin tea? Do any of these combinations sound like they would work well?
Or some unusual ideas that might just work: Smoked Grapefruit, or Smoked Hot Cinnamon.
PS: How is the Banana Walnut coming along?
Hi Zack S-So glad you enjoyed that Smoked Banana! I was really proud of that one. That was our first use of Lapsang in a flavored tea. I will definitely keep some of your suggestions in mind. I really like the idea of a smokey pumpkin. It sounds unique.
We did try 2 smoked teas yesterday. I’m just about to do a tasting of over 30 different combinations that were tested out yesterday. There was a slightly smokey hot cinnamon cake that I tested and a plum hot cinnamon smoke that I tested. Fingers crossed
The Banana Walnut large batch is resting now and should be ready tomorrow. Just need to make sure it doesn’t need anymore tweaking.
Today, we may be putting out 2 teas, then tomorrow several more and then Sunday several more and possibly a few more on Monday. I’m hoping the banana goes up tomorrow.

Tomorrow I will be looking to fill in any blanks, so it’s not too late yet. I still don’t have any waffle or maple yet, since those teas failed. Mostly, they were paired with a fruit or tea that didn’t work.

11. Orange Pistachio Toffee (loved this one the most)-Steamed Purple

Afternoon to evening. We had 4 teas that were unexpectedly added on, so they need to be tasted, have brewing parameters determined, and have descriptions written. Everything else is ready to go. :)
I haven’t tried many of your teas, but I know lots of people love them. Have you considered posting your recipes online or passing them on to another small tea business?
Unfortunately, I could never just pass them on to a competitor or make them available online. The amount of hard work that these recipes took, there is just no way I could do that.

Just ordered Caribbean rum punch, grapefruit creme brulee, kenya obsidian, peach beer, taiwanese lapsang souchong, strawberry rhubarb cheesecake, and potato pancakes and applesauce.
