Butiki Teas: Mystery Teas Revealed!!! Herbs & Spices?
Or what about something like “Frosted Grapefruit?” Something that tasted like a sugar coated Ruby Red Grapefruit.
I tried making a grapefruit creme brulee tea already. It was ok, but I just might have to give it another go.
I’d love to see another waffle flavor! Maybe with plum & almond, or another fruit (plus sugar or toffee, perhaps) to simulate compote?
For some reason I feel like licorice and hot cinnamon would work well together.
A waffle flavor will be happening. Just not sure exactly what to do with it yet. Hmmm, I do like the idea of plum and almond. Will have to test that out. I’ve used the toffee to make a jam flavoring, so that could easily work.
“Mango Chutney” in tea form would be good.
Watermelon and lime would be nice and refreshing together. “Watermelon-Lime Slushie?”
Love this one! Will be trying that for sure. I could see this one on the puerh or Kenyan Obsidian.
Oh, maybe a fig black tea. Or blueberry chocolate?
So sorry, unfortunately we don’t have fig flavoring and ran out of the chocolate one. On the page before this, we have a list of all of the flavorings that are left. The blueberry one is still available. :)
Blueberry/ almond? Not sure what tea flavour would work as a scone/ pastry.
I’ll see what I can do. Unfortuanately, we did use a lot of the blueberry up for the blueberry champagne and I’m not sure how we could make the scone work with what we have left. It may end up tasting more like blueberry waffle. I could add some maple or toffee to that and make a breakfast tea.
You’ve probably already done it, but do the Brandy/Rum/Irish Cream flavors pair well with lapsang souchong?
Hmmmmm, well I am dying to try another Lapsang Souchong flavored tea. I’m thinking irish cream would work maybe with a little raspberry and some puerh too.
I like the complexity the lapsang souchong adds, and a strong spice is a plus. I think the irish cream would cut the intensity of it well. What I want to try is a lapsang souchong with a strong french vanilla. I’ve also had lapsang souchong mixed with gunpowder green tea that was pretty good. I’ll definitely be reviewing coffee and cigarettes when I get it, though.
Unfortunately, we are all out of vanilla but I can see how that would be amazing. :) I definitely feel like there needs to be a fruit involved to cut the cream and smoke a bit.
Have you ever had Caribbean rum punch? That might be a fun blend. Rum, lime, orange, mango and sugar flavors.
I’ve never had a Caribbean rum punch before. Sounds delightful! This one I will be trying for sure! I’m actually making a June Bug tea for my hubby (http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink2595.html). We don’t have much of the ingredients but I have been promising to make him one for ever.
Feel free to keep the ideas coming. I’ve set aside tomorrow to completely work with testing out new flavors. :)
