White Tea Suggestions...
This is a type I’ve been meaning to revisit. I’ve been pretty indifferent about it. It’s alright, but doesn’t really grab me. Maybe I’m too used to drinking the black teas. Though I still like greens, and lighter oolongs. The last one I tried was Silver Needle White Tea from Teavivre.
Places where I can get samples only, please. 14 grams or less.
Yezi Tea has great Chinese white teas and Teabox has some great Indian white teas. It’s really fun to taste the difference between a white darjeeling and a classic Chinese bai cha like bai hao yin zhen.
Oh, also, Tao Tea Leaf’s Whitemoon cake is really something! I would bet that their other white teas would be good as well.
You can also try white monkey/Baimao hou it’s classified as green tea, but it has a lot of white tea characteristics. It’s like mix of green and white, one of my favourites.
Lariel, I just sent you a PM, hopefully you received it because apparently some messages have not gone through properly for me. Let me know. G
Teavivre is nice enough to let me try some of their whites and raw pu’erh for reviews. I shall look into the other suggestions in the future. Should I do shorter steep with more leaf for white teas?
