Happy birthday TEEEEEA from Mandala!
So my wife wanted to get me some tea for my birthday, but she knows nothing about tea other than I like pu erh. So, what does she do? Well… call Garret at Mandala of course! She called, asked to talk to Garret and told him that she wanted to get me a bunch of tea. Being the gracious tea monk that he is, Garret hand picked me a large order of some particularly delicious pu ehr’s on behalf of my wife. I’m so happy! Here’s what I got:
2009 Mengku Jade Dew sheng
2007 Haiwan Purple Leaf sheng
2012 Menghai 8582 sheng
2012 Mandala Heart of the Old Tree sheng
2012 Mandala Year of the Dragon shou
2013 Mandala Temple Stairs shou
Mandala mini tuo variety pack shou
Menku “gifting” sheng sample
I’m a pretty happy guy right now, enjoying some of the 2007 Purple Leaf… delicious! I’ll be writing several tasting notes over the next couple weeks. I’m so grateful to have so many new teas to try. Thanks Garret for helping make my birthday an awesome one! :)
Happy Birthday awilsondc!
You are such a lucky guy to have a wife who makes you such great gifts (and consults Garret). She is 24K gold!
Enjoy!!!
Happy Birthday – you have an amazing wife, that’s a fantastic gift!!!
Garret is just so amazing – he is the tea guru, seem to just instinctively know what you will like.
Enjoy your teas!!!
I wanted to email you yesterday to wish you a happy birthday buy thought “what if he hasn’t got the goods yet?” Didn’t want you to know that I knew it was your birthday, just in case. So I waited until today.
It was a special treat for me to be able to be a part of your birthday in some way. I’m still grinning from my conversation with your wife. You both are really nice people.
And now I wish you a very happy belated birthday! May this next year of your life bring you nothing but joy and amazingness, my friend! Thank you for raising the vibration here on Earth!!!
