"V8 Fusion + Tea" ?! - Free Samples

Got one, however didn’t know it would take 4 weeks :( I’ll be back in school by then.

A New Fusion

Mom always tells you about how important it is to “eat your veggies.” But perhaps, considering all the health benefits popping up, she should amend this statement slightly – “and drink your tea.”

Luckily for us, the fine folks over at Campbell Soup Company have come up with their finest idea since their now immortalized tomato soup design: combine the two.

That’s right, according to a recent press release, a new line of V8 beverages will have a combined serving of vegetables and fruit in each 8-ounce glass, along with “the antioxidants and cool, crisp taste of,” you guessed it, “tea.” This new drink, called V8 V-Fusion +Tea, is scheduled to be hit the shelves in the US in October.

I take this as a significant sign that tea is making big steps forward, as this is one of the most well-known healthy beverage brands on the market.

But will it taste good? That’s yet to be decided.

Every Monday thru 9/30 V8 VFusion is giving away 1,000 12oz samples free. They go REALLY fast. They say it takes 4 weeks for the sample to be delivered so start looking for reviews of this product on www.steepster.com in about 3 weeks. Too bad they don’t have 1 full serving EACH of fruits and veggies like regular V8 VFusion.

Anybody actually received and/or tried a sample yet?

Sadly, at least for me, the drink has sucralose in it. I would think with all the fruit and veg sugar, it would not be necessary. And it is only 50% juice. I guess they are trying to sweeten it, and keep the cost low. I wouldn’t spend my money on it.

BUT!!! For those who like, or do not mind, sucralose; it is likely a great product.
