Having Cantaloupe & Cream, nostalgia…my first ever butiki tea. Provided by the lovely Bonnie in a swap, couple of years ago.

Yummy!

I’m so excited for that one! Love all kinds of melon. :D

I added that one to my order today. Tried it as a sample last time I ordered and was surprised how much I loved it!

I started my morning with The Killer’s Vanilla. Delicious! Now I’m enjoying the 1994 Aged Bai Hao.

And my husband told me that no, I do not need to order more tea. He’s probably right, but I’m going to ignore him. Trying to decide what I want……..

Pfft be your own woman!

I did say I was ignoring him, didn’t I? I understand his reasoning, but I don’t care.

i grabbed a green tea for my fiance as a peace offering for bring more tea into the house. It seems to have worked….

I guess I’m lucky that way, I never get questioned. I never ask about his computer purchases either.

Lol, my boyfriend knew I was waiting for this sale so he was okay with it. I don’t think he expected it to be $75 though. ;)

He reasoning has nothing to do with money. It more has to do with storage space in the house. I’ve just about taken over the pantry. (I have to clear out the rest of the stuff and find a place for it, so I can have the whole dang thing!) Right now, I have packages from Golden Tips Teas, Verdant, Whispering Pines, Tea Sparrow and two traveling tea boxes stacked in a corner of our main room. I need to go through my tea and sort out what I don’t want anymore and pass it along.

I hear you. After my last Whispering Pines order showed up, I found myself opening our cupboard (which is directly above the counter where I have a five-drawer tea chest plus an Upton box filled with bags) and thinking, “Hmmm, I wonder what I can move from here to make more room for tea?” Fortunately, my beloved did not walk into the kitchen at that moment. On the other hand, I know better than to mumble about how much room her perfume samples take up in our bedroom (though I make occasional comments about it smelling like a French bordello).

He does sometimes comment on the teas taking up space, mostly when I have too many on the kitchen island. He doesn’t seem to notice them anywhere else (shelves on the wall, etc).

Mine mostly just comments on the space. Though he did offer to build me a tea shelf for all my tea. Unfortunately my car decided it needed a new A/C compressor (or something like that… cars are not my thing) so the tea shelf had to wait.

We were really into wine a few years ago, and our kitchen island has little wavy wine bottle inserts. Those come out so I gained some space under there and I don’t think he has noticed :D

My husband uses the kitchen as much as I do. I just need to clean the rest of the junk out of the pantry…and maybe that cupboard full of stuff we never use….

But I did place my order.

I won’t tell!

He usually gets the mail. He was making fun of me the other day because no new tea showed up.

Cantaloupe & Cream is next, first time I have had it (thanks Christeana)!

Let us know what you think marzi…it sucks big time that we can’t post any reviews right now…I have sent an email to jason though, waiting for a reply.

lolainred said

I was wondering about that too! I was trying to check reviews this morning to decided on my free teas and had no luck. Sad day.

I am very interested in what you think of this one Marzipan. I was surprised at how much I liked it the first time I tried it.

Hope you enjoy:)

I liked it, I wish I could have it next to Golden Honey Dew since it has been a while since I had that one.

I’m having Nutmeg Cream, which is the only Butiki tea I have at the moment! I think I overleafed because it came out a little bitter and quite astringent. But I added vanilla soymilk to fix that and it’s delicious! It’s the holidays in a cup! ;)

Sorry Stacy, for mutilating your poor tea. Lol!

Haha! Mutilating is a little extreme don’t you think?

Well I did brew it wrong!

But now it’s like drinking a snickerdoodle! :D

There should be a contest to who can drink the most cups of Butiki tea today.

LOL. That might bring a whole new meaning to the words “tea drunk”.

It’s Friday, I’m up for tea drunk!

The dreaded sloshing stomach! And you may have to camp out in the bathroom… Lol!

I work about 10 feet away from one of our bathrooms, and have on elastic waist pants. I can go in a flash!

Hah! Definitely backing up the “Kentucky, in yoga pants”! I’m still wearing my pajama pants… ;)

The joys of working from home! I’m either in yoga pants when it’s hot or pajama pants when it’s cold.

My co-worker and I used to keep tallies of how often we went to the bathroom because it was SO often… so.much.tea.

I’m drinking some Killer’s Vanilla now. I snuck it into the lab and hid it behind my computer monitor, so I’m furtively sipping now. Mmmmm, one of the first Butiki teas I tried and still a favorite of mine :)

I haven’t yet decided which Butiki to drink yet, but I did place my big sale order and included some Foxy Roxy in honor of 1/2 of my fave Tea Duo!

I left work early, yay! Now I have to decide which Butiki to drink… I am thinking about some Purple Oolong maybe?

Purple Sunset sounds tasty. It almost made my order but not quite! So many oolongs, so little time!

Hehe! Sounds great sars :-)

Purple oolong sounds awesome!

SarsyPie said

I actually don’t think I’ve tried it yet. LOL. I must have gotten distracted after my last order. I shall report back!

Cheri select said

There can never be too many oolongs.

mj said

Cheri speaks the truth!

Lol! Well I was going for variety since I haven’t tried many of her teas! I still ended up with 3 straight oolongs and 1 flavored! :P
