I would love to have tea with the entire gang from Louise Penny’s Three Pines / Inspector Gamache mysteries, although it might be difficult to wean most of them away from their cafe au lait.

Real person I’d love to have tea with: Elizabeth Zimmermann. If any of you are knitters, you probably know who she is. She was kind of the Godmother of innovative (yet simple) knitting techniques.

So many people! Audrey Hepburn, Deepak Chopra, Dalai Lama, Elon Musk, Helen Mirren, Miranda Kerr to name a few

Would LOVE to have tea with Benedict Cumberbatch, as he seems an intelligent fellow, and a fun-loving guy. I’d also love to have tea with Brandon Boyd of Incubus. He is very Zen. A girls’ tea that includes Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep, and a whole roster of creative and intelligent ladies would be fabulous.

On the non-famous person side, I love having a nice sit-down chat with tea with my best friends. Good, contemplative conversation goes really well with the slow, contemplative sipping of tea.

Hard choice. Divided between C.S
Lewis and or J.R.R. Tolkien.

I know a few, but probably my first choice would be David Ellsworth. Never heard of him? David is an excellent woodturner and artist. I’ve taken a few classes from David, and go out of my way to see one of is demonstrations and lectures any chance I get. It’s been a long while since I had lunch with David – one he made so I don’t remember is he was a Tea Drinker, but knowing his love of wood and nature I’m sure he would enjoy sitting and relaxing over a good cup.
