Do you name your teaware?
This is my glass teapot Amanda, named after my friend who gifted in to me:
My ceramic teapot Honoria, which I bought at a massive thrift store. A pretty and fancy one!
Vera, another ceramic teapot came free with my first box from Simple Loose Leaf. It’s green, which made me think of “verde,” which then made me think of “Vera.”
Hiram, my test tube steeper. No explanation for the name. It just rang.
One of the matcha bowls, Sakura. Came with a matcha gift set from my Japanese host family.
My second matcha bowl, Fuyuki, bought this winter. “Fuyu” means winter and Fuyuki is a Japanese male name.
Haruki the shudei kyusu. I named it after spring, which is “haru,” since that’s the season during which I bought it and Den’s offered it specially to go with their spring harvest. Haruki is another Japanese male name.
No name but still a fantastic find (TJMaxx): http://s1356.photobucket.com/user/ochaku/media/DSC01963_zpsb9d0e967.jpg.html?filters[user]=134101796&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=4
I don’t name mine but all of yours are really cute!
I don’t have names for all if my tea ware but I have yixing pots named Linda, Esmeralda, Jasmine, and Abigail. No reasons, the names just seem to fit them. Oh and my tea pets babe is squirtle because he’s a turtle that squirts water out his nose so how could I not? :P
