21 Day Exercise TreaTEA
I’ve been remiss in posting too! Let’s see if I can remember what I’ve been doing….
Day 6: 20 min elliptical + arm day….followed by food poisoning. blech. Hard to get back to it after that!
Day 7: 30 min elliptical
Day 8: 20 min elliptical + butt day
Day 9: 30 min elliptical
Day 10: 20 min elliptical + Ab day
Day 11: 30 min elliptical
Day 12: 20 min elliptical + leg day
Day 14 I went to the gym. It’s been only a week but I feel like I haven’t gone there for a long time. Ugghhh my quads X_X Did 25 minutes on the elliptical this time, and since I couldn’t do the calf raiser machine (when people stay on machines for eternity…..oy), I used the rowing machine instead.
Exercised my usual 3 miles but not any more. I actually did some work ( 2 hours) at my former elementary school unpacking boxes, sorting books and school material. I was sitting down most of the time but at least I was using my arms a lot.
Day 15 I was going to do my floor routine. But outside was so nice that I went walking/jogging for half an hour.
I’ve reached 111% of today’s goal (5 miles) and I still will have time for a walk after dinner. Whoopie! Did some good stretching and floor exercises. I actually didn’t drink as much tea as usual. I’m sort of bored with what I have. I can’t wait to go on vacation so I can pick up some different teas. Tomorrow is Weight Watcher weigh-in. Keep your fingers crossed that all this exercising will pay off.
I know that our 21 days are up but I gotta share. I met my goal at 201% yesterday!!! I walked 8.5 miles. (In several different segments, not all at once) I’ve started carrying weights while I walk for at least part of the time. I drank a ton of tea, whatever was cold brewing. Yippie!
I’m staying at my mom’s Senior Residence in Florida. Boy, does that make you feel young… sometimes I think I’m old at 62 but if you hang around with people in their 80’s and 90’s suddenly I feel positively youthful!
It’s too hot outside most of the day so I’m going up and down the halls of the complex over and over and over again.
