Never again will I say what I’ll do BEFORE I actually do it. I didn’t do anything yesterday….I’m gonna do an extra day as well.
Day 7 This morning I went birding for nearly an hour and a half. And just now I did my floor routine (I’ll just keep reposting it whenever I do it…my goal is three times a week).

Yep! And this routine is rougher than it looks.

I don’t know all these exercises… what is a superman? I’m pretty sure it’s not actual flying. :)
Don’t mind me – it’s just my being insecure again. I’m supposed to be athletic because I’d been playing tennis nearly all the way through college, but I have poor stamina. Other floor routines I look at (they’re around the Internet) usually seem incredibly hard because 1) the list of exercises is longer 2) each exercise seems to have so many more reps than I could do. I imagine collapsing to the ground in muscle fatigue if I tried them.
Supermans are good for the lower back! Lie face down on the floor, lift your arms and legs, hold, and pretend you’re flying like Superman :3
After doing practically nothing yesterday, I have completed 128% of my goal. Yeah! I spent about 20 minutes doing floor exercises. Now I only have to resist any yummy food.
Forgot to post about Day 8 yesterday. I went to the gym and changed my routine a bit. Now I do 15 minutes with 8 power resistant on the elliptical, and because I feel that cardio and doing supermans and planks are enough for my abs, I’m not doing ab work and I switched it with leg lifts for inner thighs.
Day 9 My usual floor routine. I’ve noticed I’m getting better in general.
Day 10 I walked 20 minutes morning and then walked another 20 minutes early in the evening.
Day 11 More walking…..I went to a picturesque town with a friend.
Day 12 Hiking/birding for 2 hours this morning.
Due to being away for a program and being impossibly busy, I’m going to have to restart my 21 days, starting with TODAY. Woo, wish me luck!
I haven’t been posting on this thread lately but I’m still getting my three miles in every day. I walk in one mile segment most days. Some of my neighbor are stopping me and asking if I’m still walking :) … even though I had a two hour break. The other problem is neighbors stopping me to chat. I haven’t done as well on my stretching as I was a while back. Maybe I should get up and do that right NOW! :-D
I’ve defeated the purpose of the “21 Days” thing again….I took another day of yesterday. I was pooped from walking and hiking during the week and am not used to that much activity.
I went walking/birding for 3 hours this morning. Weeeeeeeee.

Ok guys, call me a cheater if you want but since I’m restarting my 21 days I’m thinking this time around it may be good to plan for a rest day every 7th day. Gotta be done.
You might be right. I always have trouble exercising on Sundays. Somehow I’m either not motivated or busy with other stuff.
I’d rather rest every 7 days then miss a day and give up entirely.
You can join the Beachbody group and do the latest exercise DVD which is PIYO. I started a few days ago. Lots of encouragement when you become part of a private group and get a coach.
Even God had to rest on the 7th day :P

Today I did 30 minutes of weight training and crunches during Master Chef. Surprisingly my heart rate was up and I was sweating even though technically I wasn’t doing any cardio!
