I was a little lazy today. I did some walking but not as much as i should have. I’ve had sort of a sinus headache today. I hope it doesn’t turn into a sinus infection. I’ve been drinking a variety of herbals but nothing has gotten rid of it. Still, I enjoyed the teas. I also made mint tea following madametj’s directions. Super easy and super yummy! Although my mint is growing well, I think I’ll look for the chocolate mint and lemon balm and ??? The nurseries have really cut the prices lately.

Forgot to say, did an hour at the gym today. 20 minutes of elliptical, 20 minutes of bicycle, 20 minutes of treadmill total of 700 calories according to the machines.
This morning I walked 4 miles outside rather than 3 miles on the track. I could hardly wait until I got home for my cup of My Morning Mate. (I did sneak a cup before my walk ) It’s only 11;00 so I think I’ll get a full work out today! My husband and I are going on a picnic at a nearby forest preserve for lunch. I’m sure we will go for a walk then, also. Now to try and get some core exercises in.

I was scraping the bottom of the motivation barrel today, but this thread kept me on track. Thanks guys :-). I kept it light today and just did 25 min on the elliptical. Now to shower, head downtown to a friend’s place, and then watch fireworks over the river! Happy 4th of July everyone!

Day 5. I went birding this morning, so that’s an hour’s worth of walking (and standing). And I exercised at the gym as I usually do on Fridays. Same routine.
I drank a lot of mate today. I don’t know if that could be why I did well on my exercising. I made 141% on my walking goal (4.5 miles) and some stretching and beginning core exercises.
My husband keeps wondering where I’ve gone… I just say I’m going for a little walk and disappear. :)

I didn’t exercise today, nor did I have any tea. Boo!
I wasn’t feeling all that well today and totally cheated. No exercise, but I definitely had some tea. My Whispering Pines order arrived…how could I possibly resist that?
I already know I have to add at least 2 days to my 21 days so far. It’s gotta be done! :P

I overdid my core work on Tuesday. I’ve had a pain on my side since then but it’s going down. In contrast, my whole body was sore for only a day. I took it easy yesterday and went on a 20 minute walk, and I think it’s best for me to wait another day, so I’ll walk again, double the time.
Back at it today. Ab day:
20 min elliptical
20 knee ups
40 plank oblique crunch things
60 plank jacks
80 crunches
50 bicycle crunches
Way too lazy today. I don’t think I made even 25% of my goal. :( Maybe I’ll have a burst of energy this evening.
