Same workout as yesterday, did legs today for weight training. Enjoying some tea right now! :)

Today I went for my walk with my friend (3 miles/one hour) and went home and made myself one of my favorite teas, Earl Grey #69. Wonderful. I watched Orphan Black doing the exercises from http://www.buzzfeed.com/peggy/workouts-that-allow-you-to-watch-an-ungodly-amount-of-tel It was a lot of fun! I liked the variety of exercises. Drank some Vanilla Comoro Decaf. I walked a bit on the treadmill while I watched Musketeers. I’m not really sure if I like Musketeers, but I’ll give it a few more weeks. I drank Fig Rose, I drank more Fig Rose and resteeped a got more Fig Rose! I made my Weight Watchers/Active Link goal for the day (yea!).

Went to my apartments gym and did another 45 minutes today. The fact that I went at 11 o’clock at night is the reason I make it no tea the next day and not that day if I don’t work out. But I still went today technically (; also my boyfriend just got a membership to a gym across the street with unlimited guest passes so I can go there with him, and the two gyms in campus are free for me.

Neat thread. I have been using tea to motivate my healthy habits as well. I have been using it to curb hunger and a sweet tooth. I have also been using it as a bribery for completing x number of workouts. For example, if I do 26 out of 30 workouts in a month then I can spend x dollars on a tea purchase. I have been following the Bikini Body Mommy routines. Mommy or not, it is a well rounded 90 day program. 20 mins of full body weights 3 days a week and 3 days of 20 minute HIIT workouts 3 days a week. All workouts are doable at home with a set of weights or something to throw around like water bottles or milk jugs.

Oh, I here HIIT is no joke!

I’m in! I just saw this thread, so joining a little late. I just got my workout in this morning, so perfect timing! Now shower and then tea :-) Today was leg day, so my workout was:
20 min elliptical
80 x squats w/ 10 lbs
120 x lunges w/ 10 lbs
160 x toe touches w/ 10 lbs
4 × 50 sec wall sits
180 sec of jumping jacks

I try to workout every morning, but haven been slacking a bit lately (like only 4x last week and didn’t workout yesterday). Hopefully this tea challenge will give me the motivation I need!

Well, I spent last year not working out at all and the year before that only sporadically, so I have a lot to make up for. I started back again this May. My motivation was lagging and I kept trying to get a friend or my BF to do a work out challenge with me and nobody would! So thank you for starting this thread! It’s just what I needed :-)

I made it back around to leg day. The best day! I did the workout above plus a sprint to the bus with a 15lb backpack heh

I’ve been a Beachbody girl for a few years but have fallen off the wagon a bit since my allergies have gotten worse. I’m working on that with my doctor and hope to be back at my P90X3 workouts again soon. I’m still doing some yoga and isometrics in between. Love the thread on fitness!

Today was gym day, so I did my usual ~1 hr routine. 12 minutes jogging on treadmill, 15 stretching, ~15 doing back and abs exercises plus push-ups, and 20 on the machines for legs, knees, and shoulders. I challenged myself by planking 15 seconds more and by finally increasing reps for the machines. Cooling off with cold-brewed sencha now <3

I really have to work on core exercises. I just have a hard time motivating myself to Just Do It! I did well on my walking 3 sessions… 3 miles / 1 mile / .5 mile. I drank lots of Guayaki Chocolate Mate in between each sessions. Unfortunately I’m still drinking my yummy mate and its 5:45. Do you think I’ll ever get to sleep tonight?

Listening to music is very helpful for me, otherwise planks and cardio are boring and harder to do.

Haven’t played that one yet

Most of it isn’t as active as the other JD ones, but the music is so great that I usually do it twice as long without noticing. It also has the real Abba music videos as a bonus.

Did a 30 minute workout tonight because I didn’t have time for 45, so I upped the resistance a bit and was able to burn almost as many calories in 2/3 the time (;
