Small Big traveling Tea Box - US only for now (In hiatus - waiting)
The box is now travelin! There are two things of tea I don’t want to see come back to me Wellness Tea – De Stess, Wellness Tea – Slimming. They have ingredients I don’t want to drink while breast feeding.
Speaking of that… I looove ginseng oolongs and found out that I can’t drink them while breastfeeding because your not supposed to have ginseng… T_________T
I have the box and have updated the list (companies in alphabetical order)…because I’m too scatterbrained to search through them easily. There are a ton of small size teas to try! There are bagged tea brands that I’ve never heard of and it’s perfect timing because I like to bring bagged teas on vacation (going on one for the 4th).
I set some sachets aside and put labels on them so that I can try (and make notes) on the later. This weekend I’ll be writing a paper so I’ll have plenty of time to sample and record voice notes to post later. That said, I should have the box mailed out by early next week (Tuesday or Wednesday). :) In the mean time, I’ll make sure to update the list with what I’ve taken out and put in.
You know your addicted to tea when you create a box and get excited not just to taste but to see what teas people update as its past along
Agreed! No sense in letting a tea go to waste in your cupboard when someone else can love it in theirs!
Would it be helpful if we posted exactly how much we take out and put in?
If you want you are more then welcome to do so. But I think it would be hard for people who don’t have a way to weigh the tea. Guessing is fine but… kinda hard to tell.
To make it easy, I’ll just post how much I took out. I’m almost ready to mail out the box and I’ll post tasting notes later (either tomorrow or Wednesday). :-)

Haha love the note on green lime. Dont let it scare u from their other tea, cause their others are quite good.
I will definitely be open to trying their others! There are teas that I find gross that many people seem to like so who knows, maybe someone will really like the lime flavor…just not us. :P

Skysamurai Yes, exactly!!! . Talk about amazing first TTB experiences, too!^.^ Oh my goodness gracious, I’ve never seen so much tea in one room that I want to try. It is amazing. Hard to contain so much awesomeness.

I’ll be in New York tomorrow on a layover. That mango lassi tea sounds delicious so… I think I may pick some up.

So If you’ve never been to a David’s Tea shop before I highly recommend it. They are super nice, not at all pushy, and so nice.
