[Finished] TTB: TEAlephone - Finished!

I’m sure I wrote something on this last night… I must have forgotten to hit the post button.
I went with African Queen using the word African from the previous tea. They were both Rooibos, also. So I thought made another connection for the two teas.

Yup, foxtrot had rooibos as well. Double connection.

It’s weird because I hate straight rooibos but Foxtrot is one of my favorite teas. :)

I thought I’d posted but I apparently hadn’t.

I went with Duchess’ First Love because of the Earl Grey connection and also rooibos.

That’s what I thought, too, when Arshness started the idea.

Me too (: things like this make me wish I was in the US. Why oh why are there not more UK based tea people?!?

Nattie you would really think more UK people would be tea people… I mean come on! The UK and tea right??
I’m so confused.

From what I heard, most people in the UK are heavy tea drinkers, but mostly the supermarket stuff.

Maybe its because Steepster is a US-based website so not a lot of UK people know about it?

I have a friend in the UK and I mentioned loose tea and he was like “how do you do it” and I was like ‘Wait what? But you’re British…" he had no idea how to loose leaf tea.

I think it’s also a generational thing. My grandmother knows how to use loose leaf but her generation was so happy when bagged came about for simplicity. She likes that I use loose but prefers convenience over quality.

I know right?! Marzipan is pretty spot on – the majority of people I know drink at least two cups a day, usually a lot more, but they seem to stick with one brand of the bagged generic stuff. To be honest I’m not even sure they know about loose leaf! I do think it’s partially a generational thing, a lot of people now are brought up with the bags, and stick with tradition. A lot of people I know don’t like trying new things either, they’re pretty set in their ways :/ which is a shame because tea can be so amazing!!

I’m really sorry about that! Something must be going with the post office kiosk I sent from. Everything I sent out last week had extra charges added to it for some reason. :(

I’m really sorry about this, everyone… I know put the correct address and postage. I don’t know what to do about the card but should I sent another package to get the Tealophone to move along again?

How did you send it? Regular first-class mail?
