Tea Infuser of the Day
Someone on the Tea Mug of the Day thread just introduced me to the “Mr. P” character, so I had to share this:
боже мій!!
That’s “oh my god” in Ukrainian. Pronounced “Bohzhe meey!” Because I’m half-Ukie, my friends tend to send me Matryoshka-themed gifts all the time. BTW, “Matryoshka” is the name for these nesting dolls; the word means “little mother” in Russian. I have Matryoshka dishtowels, Matryoshka luggage tags, Matryoshka measuring cups (cleverly designed, those) – you name it. But this infuser is PRICELESS. When I saw the picture of the head bobbing on top of the tea I just lost it…! Thank you for sharing.
And @Brooklynsheep – I am having a GREAT time in your town! I will be sad to leave tomorrow – but happy to get home to my dogs. I am looking forward to my dinner at Gentleman Farmer tonight. Thanks for the tips and the giggles.

These are so cute! But I have a dumb question… how does it open? Is it big enough for a fair amount of tea to expand?
There was one review on this Amazon page:
“The way it works is that the leaf splits in half, revealing two seperation compartments. The top is solid this is just where the air sits. The second is the bottom half, that has the holes and this is where the tea goes.”
