I don’t think you should step out, Sil. Even if you do, there are a lot of people who didn’t get in on this one. (Plus, I look forward to your reviews of these teas.)

The randomizer decided it just liked Canadians that day. And I know that you were one of the ones to encourage Stacy to do this, so it just worked out.
There’s a few other Canadian people on the list too. So with more of you on there, it makes it a bit more worth it to send to multiple Canadians instead of just like, one. Lol.

If you are up for it, work would include:
*Cross referencing everyone that wanted to join in both threads to find out who didn’t make it and see if they would like to join a new box.
*Recruiting enough participants to justify doing a box.
*Setting rules.
*Maintaining a list of participants, contacting individuals as needed, and making sure the box moved along.
If so, then we can start up a second box. :) Don’t feel pressured to orchestrate the box though because I know that would be a lot of work.
It’s probably easier for me than for a lot of people since I work from home and my kids are grown.

Also, would people prefer a paper list of teas that are in this box or for me to put it on a flash drive to keep the paper mess to a minimum?
Paper list it is. Lol!
I’d rather some sort of physical list, either paper or drive. That way if someone is unable to make it onto Steepster to post what they took out/put in, and/or forgot exactly what they added before shipping it out, there’s another reference.
I like the idea of the flash drive but would everyone have a compatible program to view/edit it?
I like paper, but only because my kitchen and computer are on different floors, and I am most likely to update in the kitchen.
I’m leaning towards paper simply because it’s not a sure bet that eveyone will have a computer that’s able to read the files. And I’d hate to have someone pick up a bug from it or some awful thing.
Hey all! Sorry it took so long to get a shipping list out. I’ve had some health problems and such and haven’t felt like doing anything.
So this is the list that I’ve figured out so far. I tried to keep it from jumping around too much so hopefully it works out for everyone.
Unfortunately at this point in time I’ve had to drop the Canadians from my list. Sil dropped out completely and of the two people left, neither has said they’d be willing to ship back to the US. If that’s changed, let me know please. But for now, this is the list.
Also, Terri HarpLady & TastyBrew, if I don’t get your addresses in the next few days, I’ll have to remove you from the list. So please let me know ASAP.

My apologies to everybody in this group. I totally missed this thread, I haven’t been frequenting the discussion groups much lately. I think I’m going to bow out of this TTB for a few reasons, one being that I already have too much tea, & it would be crazy for me to invite another box into my home. Reason #2, I feel like the shipping cost is way over the top. I’ve sent lots of boxes to Canada, & the most expensive one was $18. Anyway, there are a few other reasons that have nothing to do with anything or anybody here. I’m a little overwhelmed right now, & probably wouldn’t have time to really sample things. So hopefully I haven’t inconvenienced people too much! :)
