Is there any advantage to getting a first flush that is just harvested?

It really depends on a lot of different variables. Green teas I think you can taste a difference, but how it is kept and packaged is more important.

Buying a first flush that has just been harvested doesn’t guarantee you a good tea, I’d say finding a good tea shop matters much much more. (as plenty of people lie) :*(

I’m waiting for Den’s Tea sencha fuks-midori 2014 first flush sometime in mid april. If I like it I’ll order more.
