Wow, how bizarre! Am sorry to hear this, guys!
. this is disturbing.
Months later… people are still finding bird feathers in their tea. Think of all the diseases and critters wild birds carry. Teavana needs to take care of this. dump all their tea and start over.
That’s what I was thinking, thnk how easy a feather is to pick out, and think of what else might be there that is…more incorporated.
4 years ago i had found a beetle brewing in my cup of tea from teavana. I took the beetle out and drank the tea. Now everytime i inspect my tea before drinking it.
I do the same with Starbucks drinks. I found a fly in a drink once. Those smoothies have never been the same (as someone who gets grossed out easily XD)
you have to realize that this isn’t just teavana. there are a lot of things that happen on tea plantations that isn’t shown on camera. storage conditions, bugs, pesticides, poor hygiene of workers/sweaty workers, animal poop, etc. it slipped passed qc, and now they’re paying the price. anything that’s mass produced isn’t as high quality as companies want you to think.
