Checked my mail yesterday and NOTHING.
But I checked again after class today and THE TEENY TINY TEA BOX HAS ARRIVED!!
I seriously cannot believe how many teas were able to fit into this wee little thing! And because of that, I don’t think I can fit all the Golden Honey Dew that I wanted to put in, so I’ll just make that as a part of the TTB itself. But if you’re a Honey Dew/Green rooibos fan and you didn’t get the chance to try the Honey Dew and you want to, just feel free to message me :)
But yes. The box has arrived and I’ll keep it for the rest of the week and try as many teas as I can. I’ll definitely send it off to the next person by monday next week :)

The box has arrived in my town. I’ve seen the box. I’ve even touched the box. I am not in possession of the box. Apparently, it is JUST big enough to fit in my PO box from the back where they load them – but at the front – where the door and its attendant hinges are. Which does not leave enough room for me to actually get the box out from the front. So tomorrow, when they are open, I will have to get postal people to retrieve it for me. I tried wiggling it out but it was not happening. I am sad.
The post office opens at 830 so I will be there to get it. And wow – y’all weren’t kidding – that box is TINY!
I have the box – seriously it really IS like a clown car – tea just keeps coming out of this wee little box. I’m so totally not a rooibos fan – but I’m having a cup of the Golden Honeydew and I’m keeping it cause it’s really good! I will be likely sending the box back out this weekend and will be contacting the person after me for their address.
Y’all seem to be a flavored tea lot. I don’t have a lot in the way of flavored teas as that is not my thang. But I will put some good stuff in (hint: Golden Fleece anyone?)
I like flavored teas and straight teas both, so I won’t complain about having straight teas in the box. (hint, hint)
Cool cause I have some AWESOME stuff. Especially Chinese blacks. Any interest in good pu-ers?
I haven’t tried a lot of pu-er yet but I’d like to. (Phone posting. Stupid auto correct)

And you know, I didn’t even realize that like all the teas were flavoured! I was just overwhelmed by the amount of tea that was able to fit so I just grabbed a few of my favourites and tossed it in there. Didn’t realize those were all flavoured as well. Dang.
You know I’m glad it was different than the things I normally default to. I mean the honeydew one has TWO things I don’t usually like: rooibos and fruit and I liked it a LOT. Plus, I tried a wee tiny taster cup of the Butt Touch Brigade. I was woeful that I didn’t love it because i REALLY wanted to have a tea named that.
I kept five things so I’m totally good with it :)

Well Dang. I’m just super happy that you found a rooibos that you actually enjoyed!
You should hear my conversations with my roommates and I. It always sounds like we’re cannibals when we’re going to drink Thor or Capt. Jack, and then I’d exclaim “I think I’m going to drink some Butt Touch tonight!”

But I’m keeping my promise. This is the tea that I love so much and talk so highly about, and it’s such a shame that you can only get it in one location. My intention is to have everyone try it, so if you’d like to try it, let me know!

OK I’ll keep it then. I’m always looking for good bedtime tea and most of mine that I love have the opposite effect. I am branching out and trying several of these flavors. It’s good for me :) !! And I might find some other awesome surprises. Fitting my teas in the box will take some engineering.
So….the TTTTB:
It fit into my PO box with room to spare but not come out. I tugged a little but it was very obvious it was just a bit too large to come out so I didn’t force the issue. BUT – I had to use another box. The bottom corner arrived bashed in and torn (not a huge tear) but was not going to hold up through the traveling – I took a pic in case y’all want to see it. Also, there was just no way to fit everything and I did not put in unreasonable sized samples. It is still a very small box and is full. I wanted to make sure the people signing the box part was preserved so I removed the top and put it in the top of the new box. If y’all think we should use the old box, I can put it back together and patch up the tear, but with the crunched corner all the tea for SURE won’t fit. I’m sad :( Let me know what y’all want to do before I send it on.

Since no one else has chimed in yet I’ll go ahead and give the official go-ahead. Try to keep the new box as close to the old one in size as you can and go for it. :)
Thanks Pyroxy – its widwer and flatter but I don’t think its very much bigger volume-wise. am about to go to the PO and weigh and possibly send it – if it costs more I will find a smaller box – but I also included the top from the old box so it can be signed by everyone and we retain that history.
