Ok, here is my 1st period recap.
- this game is moving fast.
- both goalies are awesome, but holy cow Sweden.
- Toews scores!!! May this trend continue.
- there is not enough time to stop and make a cup of tea #teaproblems.
I’m just catching up now. I missed the goal ’cos of walking beastie.
In my opinion, it wasn’t like a super awesome goal. There was a hole in the net and Toews went for it. But still awesome to know Canada is now in the lead. Hope we can keep it up for the rest of the game.
Actually, it was a super awesome goal, because the pass across was amazingly precise and went through two defensemen, landing Toews’ stick, which was held tight enough to hold a bird without squishing it, deflecting the fast pass between the Swedish goaler’s legs. And then the Crosby goal was also super awesome!
