Tea from China with high lead content

Hi Zach,
Thank you for considering my question. I recently read that tea coming from China may have a high lead content d/t the air pollution there. I am sorry that I cannot provide a reference for this information. The article suggested that it makes no difference if the tea is organic. They actually suggested that pregnant women should limit their tea intake. It was suggested that teas from Sri Lanka or India may be a better choice. I was wondering if you had heard anything about this topic. Thanks, Fata Padgitt
