Doesn't this travel tumbler seem perfect?

All the credit for discovering this one goes to ifjuly, by the way, who linked to it in another thread.
And, despite it’s incredibly steep price tag, it pretty much seems perfect. Especially the fact that the basket is wide and huge. Does anyone have experience with this tumbler? or any thoughts or potential concerns?
aaahhhh I think i want it!
Yeah… that tumbler is the best one that I have every seen! I’ve had it bookmarked for months now! One day…. one day…
That one looks really nice and I like that there isn’ t any mechanism to fail in it ( except seals).
Another one that’s really cool is this one

It holds 300-400ml of liquid. It’s glass and stainless steel.
It is 19.5 × 6.5 cm. It looks like there is a choice between black and silver. What’s nice about it is that you push a button to stop the brewing so you don’t have to remove parts.
those are some good lookin’ items!
and i agree, the simpler the better so there’s fewer parts that can potentially break down.
From what I understand you put the tea in the bottom clear section and add water and screw on the bottom cap. When you want to stop brewing you press the bottom which causes the seal to close off access to water. Then you flip it over and drink from the top. The top appears to have a compartment that allows you to store extra tea.
i did order it finally with christmas gift funds. but it’ll take a while to get here—tracking says it hasn’t left china yet. i will try to post juicy firsthand details when it arrives!
Oh my gosh, ifjuly!! please don’t forget to post your review of it to the world!
and yyz, I’m going to look at the one you linked to.
hmm right when I want a new tumbler too, then I glanced at “Paypal, Bill Me Later” hahaha. One day…
I have this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004S1CV/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 plus http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TYJSNY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1, both purchased for one of my shoots. The Nissan is AMAZING. My tea stays hot—I mean “be careful lest you burn your tongue” hot—for hours and hours; I was gobsmacked (and happy!). Comes in handy when I’m in and out of the car all day. The infuser that comes with it is awfully wide-weave, which is why I purchased the separate one, but it worked out perfectly. Once I am done steeping, I just flip it upside down and put the whole thing, tea leaves and all, in a little nesting spot on the console.
The Nissan is so impressive I think I may purchase another so I have plenty of plain hot water. It’s not “pretty”, but it’s sleek and more importantly, extremely effective (and only $20).
Since so many people are really eyeing this, I decided to make a page for it on Steepster. This way, when someone would like to review it, there is a convenient page for all of us to see and use! :)
