LOL, I’ll join you.
While I do enjoy a good black tea variety is the spice of life.
Count me in! Any chance to spend the day sipping Oolong sounds great to me :)
I like the idea! If I’m home Saturday, I’ll have to join you.
What exactly are we doing on Saturday?
Drinking Oolong!
Because we can :)
That sounds good. I’ll probably have some after work today.
I’m in: I have many Oolong samples on hold, and this will be a great way to sample them, finally!

Great idea. Ali mountain here I come!
I’m starting the day off with Teavivre’s Superfine Taiwan Moderately-Roasted Dong Ding Oolong. It is a lovely, nutty, semi-ball rolled tea from Dongding, Lugu, Nantou, Taiwan with notes of chestnut mixed with a deep green flavor, quite well integrated, and delicious. I used 6.5 grams in a yixing teapot, rinsed the leaves, and steeped for 30 seconds or so. Hope you all have a good day.
I’m drinking Verdant’s Hand Picked Spring Tieguanyin. On it’s third steeping now. I didn’t really rinse per say because I aways end up drinking the rinse.
Steeped in a small tea cup for a few seconds for the first steep, adding 5 or 10 for each additional steep. The tea cup is 5-6 oz and then I pour it through a strainer into a slightly larger 8 oz mug so it’s easier to drink. It’s nothing fancy but it works well for teas that need short steeps.
I won’t post any notes here because I’ve been eating candy cane jo-jos with it which totally messes with the flavor profile but it is quite lovely.
I have some cleaning (ughhhh) to do then I plan on settling in with some Shui Xian Da Hong Pao Oolong Tea I got as a sample from Yezi Tea.
A nice cup of Sapphire Oolong all the way from Sri Lanka
