Would anyone be willing to swap some of the Verdant Tea Eight Treasures Yabao Winter Blend. I have been wanting to try it for a while now, but never got a chance to.
I don’t care if it is just a small sample size left. I really want to try that flavor.
I have some! I’ll send you a message later because I need to get back to last minute studying, or you can send me one and then I’ll get back to you when I’m finally done. hello fellow swapping steepsterites. i have a shipping question, and probably should have asked this right off the bat.
when shipping across the border, does anyone have any tips? is a bubble envelope ok for tea, or should it be in a box so as not to crush the leaves?
i tend to be an overly cautious shipper, pad things more than they need, which makes it more costly. funds are a bit tight, so i’d like to try to not over spend where i don’t need to, y’know? i’d rather spend money on TEA than bubble wrap… plus i just have almost no experience shipping across the border.
I’ve always shipped mine in bubble envelopes, unless it’s too much to fit into one. Most of the tea I get back is in bubble envelopes too and I’ve never had any problems with crushed leaves or ripped open envelopes or anything. Just once border patrol opened a package haha.

i’m used to mailing things like photos. as long as it’s sandwiched between fairly sturdy cardboard, you’re golden. mailing tea is new territory for me and i’d feel terrible if tea showed up quite damaged.
Ello! so I am looking to swap The Mycroft blend by Cara M. from adagio with Cara’s The Woman Blend (also from adagio)
I have only brewed a couple of cups of it. I have learnt that I just really don’t like chocolate teas. (Just PM me if you are interested)
Edit: Just so you know, I do not have the original packaging for Mycroft. I got too excited and put it in one of my tea tins. I do have the original label, which I can include with the tea.
Question for you, (and not about the Mycroft blend, I have some of that myself), how do you ship tea if you don’t have the original packaging? Do you ship in the tea tin?
Most people on here use sandwich/snack size ziplock bags for sending tea, or buy smaller sized ziplock type bags.
So, this is less of a swap, and more of a giveaway. I have WAY too much tea and looking through my collection, realized I don’t love these guys as much as someone else may.
Some of these teas are relatively new (the matcha and David’s Tea), and some (the Cherries Jubilee, Chocolate Mate) are older. All of them have been stored in a dark cabinet so away from any light, heat, etc. I would just send them in whatever package/tin they are in now.

Hi! I would love the Long Island Strawberry Sencha and the Creme Brulee! Hmmm… I also think I’d like to try the Bavarian Cream Matcha. I’ve never tried Matcha before. Also, If you want to split any of these with someone else, that’s fine – and I have a few things I could offer to send you too.
