Very, very excited about the Christmas box!
I had to order just for Butiki blends!
What did everyone think of December’s tea box!?
I loved the Nutmeg Cream. I would definitely want more at some time.
I could appreciate the quality of the Eggnog and praline, but I’m not really into nutty teas so it wasn’t for me.
I’m saving the last one for New Years!
I LOVED the Eggnog and praline !!!
Definitely love the Nutmeg Cream. I don’t drink a lot of green teas, so while I liked the Eggnog and Praline, it’s not something I reach for. The herbal is amazing, but I don’t get much champagne… more apple cider.
I’ve tried the Nutmeg Cream and the Eggnog and Praline and enjoyed both of them. I plan on trying the last tea soon and that review will be posted on the SororiTea Sisters blog on New Year’s Eve, since it seems the ideal tea for that.
I’ve been really happy with this box though. Stacy outdid herself!
Heh I’m saving the Champagne Cider for New Year’s too. I agree that Stacy did a great job with these – both the Nutmeg Cream and Eggnog and Praline are fantastic. I quite like nutty teas done well, so the Eggnog and Praline was a total hit with me.
I liked them all, and hope they become permanent, though Nutmeg Cream is the strongest of them flavour-wise, in my opinion.
Thanks everyone! Great feedback. Agreed about the Champagne Cider transcending seasons. You should really get your hands on some bourbon! That cocktail was one of our favourite creations so far.
I think that Champagne Cider is more apple-y than champagne-y, but there is a sort of dryness on the tongue reminiscent of champagne. I also agree that this is a good year round flavour, and works just as well cold as it does hot. And as others have stated, it is a nice non-caffiene option.
I just saw that the three teas have been added to the Steepster database already! Thanks for the reviews there as well.
Oh yeah, we added them asap, and reviewed. :) Nutmeg Cream is my fave, but I could see myself having the others on hand. I don’t find either particularly tied down to the holidays. Eggnog Praline is more nutty than eggnog, and a good green tea, and the Champagne Cider is a nice evening tea, without caffeine, that works well chilled too. And Nutmeg Cream is a wonderful breakfast tea…easily my fave in the bunch.
The Nutmeg Cream sounds really good. I’m crossing my fingers that maybe Stacy might release that one normally so I could try it. Lol.
I had nutmeg cream for my breakfast tea this morning! I really hope I can buy more of it :D
I’m having some too, with my brunch. Only a tiny bit is left.

Oy! I have so much tea I shouldn’t even be considering any more…but the Nutmeg Cream & Champagne Cider sound delicious. x.x
Those 2 are the best from the box. I love the Nutmeg Cream and have been hoarding some for myself. The recipe was altered from the version in the box and doesn’t have that astringency and fickleness.
Also, should mention that we are doing a free tea promotion right now as well since we are on vacation. More info here: http://www.butikiteas.com/Closed.html
I was just about to ask if you were planning to re-blend “Hello Sweetie”. I’ve always wanted to try that one!
Indeed we are. It should be available around mid march. Depends on when all of the Amoda re-blends are sold.
