TELL ME YOUR FAVORITE DESSERT TEAS? Best Caramel, Creme Brulee, Creamy Teas... Etc

Hello Everyone! I am new to this forum and would love to hear so great suggestions from some tea enthusiasts such as yourselves! My favorite types of teas are those that have a creamy caramelized flavor to them that pair well with cream! So far my favorite is an “organic creme brulee” that I pick up from a local tea shop (not sure of the brand) since they make it for me.. and teavana’s “cocoa praline tart”, which unfortunately they don’t carry anymore! Yesterday I pick up two new ones from teavana: “toasted nut brulee” and “caramel almond amaretti” but after reading a few reviews about them having an overpowering cinnamon taste I have been putting off trying them out… If you do list a tea, I would be interested to know how and what you use to sweeten, flavor, or make it creamy!!! Thanks in advance for anyone who responds :)!!!!!!

I love DAVIDsTEA’s Red Velvet Cake and (out of stock til Christmas) Cookie Dough flavours. They’re great on their own, as plain lattes or as a latte made with vanilla almond milk. I’ve also had and loved Teayama’s Caramel Toffee Pu’erh, prepared the same way :)

Della Terra’s Caramel Creme is good. I usually add sugar and whole milk to my cup. My friend adds Caramel Macchiato creamer to her cup. Either way it’s really good.

I like Della Terra’s s’mores, although I usually add extra mini marshmallows to it.

I go for Adagio Teas’ tiger eye, creme and Valentine’s teas. To me, dessert teas always taste best when rock sugar and a splash of almond milk are mixed in. Happy cupping!

Oh boy, where to start? I drink so many dessert teas!

Butiki Tea – Creamy Eggnog
Della Terra – Lemon Chiffon, Lemon lime Cream Tart, Eight Candles (you’ll probably love this one!)
52 Teas / Zoomdweebies – They have some good creamy caramel dessert teas that may pop up for the week or get reblended. Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake, S’more and Rice Crispy Treat are yum!
DavidsTea – Buttered Rum! Creme Brulee and Oh Canada and really good too.
Red Leaf Tea – if you want to enter matcha territory, try their Caramel Matcha or Matchaccino. So many other flavors too! Make sure to try them with milk and sweetener!

What I found really OOMPHS the cream factor is to add a vanilla bean piece during the steep. http://oolongowl.com/2013/03/23/tea-additions-adding-more-flavor-to-your-tea-without-sweeteners/

Eight Candles is amazing.

Hmm, an interesting question. Maybe the most interesting to me right now is Thé-o-Dor´s Tribute tea, a marzipan galette des rois inspired tea. It totally is dessert on itself.

I like DavidsTea Buttered Rum or Oh Canada, and Harney and Son’s Vanilla Comoro. I may add a dash of milk but not sugar.

I am a dessert tea freak, my favorites are;
Della Terra S’mores
Della Terra Oatmeal Raisin Cookie
Davids Red Velvet Cake
Davids Buttered Rum
Davids Birthday Cake
52Teas Pancake Breakfast

I tend to prefer rooibos from Davids, not a big fan of the Della Terra rooibos, but I LOVE the black teas from Della Terra!!!

Also I do really like adagio, it’s a good place to start and even after drinking tea and dessert tea for years, I still like adagio. You can make your own blends and browse other people’s creations. It’s reasonably priced and you get rewards points for each purchase.

I am absolutely enamored of Della Terra’s cream flavoring, so I love all of their cream teas – Lemon Chiffon, Lime Chiffon, Lemon Lime Tart, Oranges & Cream, Strawberries & Cream, Vanilla Cream, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. That last one is a black tea. The rest are rooibos, which means they’re perfect for bedtime.

Butiki’s Pistachio Ice Cream and Ruby Pie are both also brilliant.

California Tea House’s Tiramisu is spot-on for its namesake. It’s creamy, caramely, cocoa-y goodness. Based on the info in your question, I think you’d really like this one.

I rarely add anything to my tea. You might want to try slicing some almond or coconut into the leaf before you brew to add some extra creaminess to the final product.
