Count me in ! I’d love to play.
Please please please send it to meee!
Please count me in, too!!
I think that for those in the USA you can use a USPS large flat rate priority box for approx. $14.50. I don’t know how that compares with first-class. I don’t know about the costs for shipping overseas. Ultimately, I think that the plan Angrboda came up with to map out a shipping route that made some geological sense was a great one.
I will volunteer to ship the box to either Canada or to Europe or Australia or to anywhere else as long as I get some extra time potentially to be able to visit the post office and fill out the forms. If I know in advance, I can schedule it. (I am in the USA).
If the box weighed a total of 10 pounds then parcel post would be $17.65 whereas a flat rate priority box would be $14.50 in the USA alone. If the box weighed less, it would cost less. It would be interesting to hear how much people are paying to ship the first TTB. I know that I sent it in a large flat-price priority rate box and it was filled to the gills.
One thing I have discovered from being in other TTBs is that most tea is not allowed into Australia for some odd reason. :-(
I also would be interested depending on how much shipping is. :)
I’m in! But, please do tell me roughly when it will start because like the traveling tea boxes, I do a lot of traveling myself :). Yey, I can’t wait!!! I’m actually heading to Asia next month and planning to visit some tea estates. I’ll pick up something nice so I can put it in the box. Let’s go!
Oooo~ after reading the first thread i’d really love to be a part of this. I’m sure by the time this actually gets out and to me I’ll have more tea to swap with. My collection of tea just keeps growing now that I’ve discovered steepster :x
I kept meaning to post my interest. This will be a great activity for the summer, I think. I’ve got the whole summer free.
This one might last several summers!
I figured it may! Still, it will occupy my current summer with anticipation.
If it looks like it’ll last too many summers :) we’ll break it up into reasonable amounts.
