I need to join this group. I looked at my tea cabinet/shelves this morning and realized that I need to enjoy what I have and stop wanting MORE, MORE, MORE!
I’ve been having trouble with that, as I need to seasonal teas.
I’m going on a sixth-month hiatus. Yesterday’s purchases should keep me content at the very least.
Although I’ll break it to buy Den’s Tea’s next batch of Sakura Sencha. Just that one exception (I hope).
I’m in till at least march. It’s going to be hard because Frank will make me fall in love with some of the teas in the 12 teas of christmas, but I’ll do my best. Last year I fell for a few in the set and needed full bags.
I might spend my $10 tea cash from Verdant in late January on a very very small order. Probably just a few samples. I really wish you could combine codes there but as it stands right now it’s one code per order.
I need to focus more on enjoying tea rather than acquiring it.
Part of the trouble is that there is also enjoyment in acquiring tea xD
Okay, I’m back. I’m hoping I can last until at least February or March. I may allow myself one order from a company on my shopping list sometime late December/early January depending on how much tea I’ve sipped down and if I have any leftover money from textbook purchases. Otherwise, I’m going to try to not buy tea for most of next semester.
I so need to join this group after my Black Friday binge. I might place an order with Teavivre on Monday. Other than that, it’s time for some restraint. There’s a teapot on the Smithsonian website calling my name…. must…resist…
Okay, my turn. The cause? Also Black Friday binge. Hopefully when my orders actually start arriving the temptation will die. I have enough tea to last for at least 6 months. I also start my Davids Tea advent calendar tomorrow, so hopefully that will keep my interest. Why has it got to be so tempting to try new teas? -. -
I ordered four new teas yesterday. Darn sales.
I admire your restraint :-)
Being broke kinda limits my tea purchasing.
Fair point :( If something in my cupboard tickles your fancy, I’d be happy to send you a bit!
I was doing so well for a few months there, not buying tea! but then my consumption was also way down. Then I got hooked by a 52teas order. And then went to Florida, and we stopped by my fave tea shop there… sighs…
now my cupboard is ridiculous again…
Raritea is bringing you the last of the tea of yours that was at my place
Oh yay!! well, not about the cupboard expanding part. Just the new tea part!! and Raritea! :)
It’s Cyber Puerh Monday at Verdant…someone take away my wallet, QUICK!
Verdant took away my wallet. :(
Ok – I guess it’s time we all meet up here, right?
I think aside from maybe $30 on Boxing Day if I find a good Canadian tea sale, I am on hiatus until the end of February.
