Today was awesome! I got my persimmon tree order, turtle cheesecake from 52teas, and even the Lupicia newsletter with a sample of paradise green! Wheeeeee!!!

I got my order from 52 Teas today, except that I wasn’t home when it arrived, so technically my husband got it. He had a cup of the tea I was most excited about, S’mores Chai, waiting for me when I got home! n_n He had made himself a cup of the other one, the Spiced Brandy Shou Mei, and we had a sampling session as the teas cooled. :D It’s always a good day when tea comes in the mail!

Yep! It was a bit of a tricky situation when we got married, because we each had our own tea stash that we then had to combine in some way and still have room to live in the apartment. XD He was working at Teavana at the time (not how we met, btw), which made the problem even worse.

Plus a book for one of my classes, titled “Eating Spring Rice: The Cultural Politics of AIDS in Southwest China” (it’s a medical anthropology class). Looking forward to sipping all of these new teas while reading. :D
