Got my first solo Taobao purchase today, 3 cakes of Menghai sheng: a 2006 0622, an 8542 and 8582 (both 2007).

I got my mystery sampler packs that I ordered from 52teas. Shipping was FAST! Can’t wait to try them.

My Yunomi and BTTC orders arrived today.

Saemidori sencha, old style dong ding, and samples of biluochun, bao zhong, yushan, and fushou peak teas.

Tried the saemidori sencha which is good but not as good as the shincha I got from Yuuki-Cha. I noticed the pouches Yunomi uses aren’t vacuum sealed like other Japanese vendors. Could be what’s affecting the tea’s freshness.

Tea Ave! Jasmine oolong and rose oolong, plus oodles of samples and a steeper and a tote bag! I have no need for more tea but it makes me happy anyway so la la la.

Today I didn’t receive tea or teaware in the mail. But I did get a tea related order. The Savannah Bee Company was having a sale so I bought a variety of their honeys including their Tea Honey which is supposed to allow you to still taste the underlying tea and not take over.

Today I got my order in the mail from King Tea on Aliexpress. Received a free tea cake with this order, a 2016 Chen Sheng Hao Monkey Memorial ripe tea cake.
