Today I got two orders in the mail, my Zen Tea order arrived from their 50% off sale and my Taobao Focus order arrived from China. From Taobao I got some incredible deals but don’t yet know how good the tea is. If the teas turn out to be good I got great prices. But Taobao Focus gets a fortune for shipping. They take already expensive EMS shipping and make a profit of maybe 30% or 40% on it.

Got my Zen Tea order. About 15 different teas to sample, so I’m excited about that :) Real quick shipping time too.
Samples from August Uncommon Tea. Thank you Daylon R Thomas for the coupon. They ship really quickly and the samples come with a nice, slick multi-page picture book of how to brew and cocktail suggestions. It’s all very L.A. in presentation (not at all a bad thing-I lived there for many years). I got 2 of the chocolate one-Passage something, Low Country, Civil Disobedience and Castalia. I never drink caffeine after noon, so these will wait to be tasted until another time.

O.O that white gaiwan looks like you could bathe a baby in it :P I second Allan’s question. How big is it?
It is actually to wash the cups in for the tea ceremony. The cups are only 20 ml and a good size for the grandson. The pu is a 2016 Menghai “Wu Kong”. It means mischievous, aka the grandson!
A not-so-exciting package with small baggies for sending tea to others and a hygrometer so I can start monitoring conditions for my burgeoning puerh collection.
