My Butiki order came today! (I was in the first wave of orders)
Now my kitties are playing with the cute fall leaves :)
I am way excited to try the new puerh disc! And I hadn’t realized I had fallen in love with the Crimson Horizon, so excited to have some of that one as well :)
I forgot to order the puerh discs. Since they’re new, I’m hoping there will still be some left when she puts out the new flavored teas, because I am planning to place another order when those come out.
Today I got my new tea table in the mail from Berylleb King Tea on EBay, and two swap packages, one from Boychik, one from Mr Mopar.

Not only is the color and size nice, but it seems to be rally good quality. It is very heavy for its size. I was a little worried it might take a month to get to me because it was not sent by e packet like other purchases I have made from Berylleb but by what the called Airborne Express or Air Mail. They called it Airborne Express and it had a “CP” tracking number. However the shipping was fast, about 9 days from when it first tracked, around 10 days total.
My last ever Butiki order (which, I stalked the mailman for an hour to make sure I’d be there in case I needed to sign for it—we don’t have a doorbell—because waiting until Monday evening to go pick it up would’ve bummed me out, teanerd alert). Bittersweet for sure.
And it’s been so long, right, but Stacy still managed to surprise me with her thoughtfulness one last time—she threw in some (pretty amazing, my gosh) surprises.
Now I’m sitting here, drinking the first new-to-me-and-yet-to-review-myself tea in ages aside from the A&D Oktoberfest. It’s the Malty Irish Breakfast and it’s delicious. I’m always surprised, where I know something new from Butiki will be great and then it’s even better than I hope for. Feeling happy and sad at the same time. But above all, tranquil on this gray drizzly afternoon alone. Pretty lovely all around.
I have you missed you so, boychik! Yeah, my schedule/free time’s been very topsy turvy for like 6 months now because my husband was looking for a job, finally found one this month (phew), but right now his work schedule’s weird and also up in the air, probably for a couple more weeks at least…it’s made it hard to do anything leisurely in a scheduled regular manner, plus I’ve been trying to save money because of the job situation and avoiding Steepster helps (also, I’ve not tried any new teas until this month’s A&D/Butiki blowout since taking a break from the site, which made avoiding even easier since I had nothing new to say). But I have thought of you often. Hope you are well.
And no, I’ve not reviewed anything properly…yet. Hoping to squirrel away some time this weekend hopefully to do so. Can’t wait to read backlogs from all my friends.
Marzipan, I restocked all of my alltime favorites from her (and there are so many, ack…Cantaloupe and Cream, Champagne Rose and Cream, Black Lotus, Potato Pancakes and Applesauce, With Open Eyes, Reserve Four Season Oolong, Peppermint Patty, Peach HoppiTea, Birthday Cake, on and on), and got little bits of new things that sound up my alley (some of the new brisk breakfast blacks, Plum Brandy Cheesecake).
Butiki package here too. I’ve never ordered so much tea at once before! I’m looking forward to trying everything (and relieved to have some old favorites stocked up), but sad that this is my second-last Butiki package ever. Still, I’m grateful to have been able to take advantage of Stacy’s awesome tea blending and sourcing over the past couple of years.
Today I got a swap from The Cookie Lady filled with all sorts of wonderful looking teas! Happy, happy, happy!

A ridiculously large tea “care package” from Dexter with a ton of different amazing straight and flavored teas from several companies! And that butthead didn’t even want any tea back! <3
I got my swap from KiwiDelight. She sent me a sample of Den’s Sakura Sencha plus some bonus flavored teas! :)
A little late but yesterday I got my order from Harney & Sons. 3-4 oz. tins of: Indian Nimbu, Earl Grey Supreme, Sungma Darjeeling 2nd Flush and Lemony Gunpowder plus quite a bunch of samples :)
