I got my new electric kettle in the mail today, woohoo!

We also got a pound and a half of beef jerky that my boyfriend ordered last week. We are both staunch meat lovers. :D
I like it a lot so far! It’s quite fast and the carafe feels nice and heavy, which I consider a good thing. :) And the buttons aren’t too clicky! Hooray!
Not tea per se but I just got “Tea: History, Terroirs, Varieties” book in my Amazon package. I am ready to start reading it right away!
Got my bamboo wrapped tong of 2005 Menghai tuos from Yunnan Sourcing today. This is the tea that almost turned me into a woman of ill repute, bench warrant here I come, hello Your Honor, I didn’t mean to do it, only this tea that I have…I also ordered a supply of bamboo charcoal. I am hoping to replace insanely expensive Brita filters with it.
Got my samples from Good Life Tea. Wish the Hot Cinnamon one wasn’t one of the black tea options. It kinda takes over the other scents.

I tried the Golden Snail (Bi Luo Chun) Yunnan Black Tea which was amazing! And Ailaoshan Black Tea, which was also pretty good!
I don’t feel well enough to write tasting notes for those though. But they were definitely good!

Got the ‘Another Traveling Tea Box’ in the mail today. Haven’t opened it, but very much excited to be a part of this one again.
Received 2 orders from Mandala Tea in the past 2 days. First, I received my Phatty Cake II along with a tea pick. This is my first sheng pu-erh, and I was excited to get it. The next day, I got my Mandala Tea Thermos, which I am super pumped about. Now I can have tea at work!! Hooray! Garrett included 2 samples in each box. I am still a tea novice in comparison to most people on Steepster, so I am incredibly excited to be trying so many new teas.

I also have that Shu cake, haven,t tried it yet, just got mine too. know that you can’t go wrong with Garret’s pu’erh, they rock!!!
Ah! I keep getting “sheng” and “shu” mixed up, haha. Thank you for the correction. I really loved it when I tried it out last night, and I am sure you will too!
