Official *What did you get in the mail today?* Thread!!!
Got my Dragonwell order today, not quite yet a month from harvest! Also got a special Hwangcha by Jeong Jae Yeun of Jiri-Mountain Wild Tea via Morning Crane Tea. Seems like a lot of tea, but the Dragonwell I am drinking at 1 tbsp a session so the 2 oz will go fast.
I got an absolutely AMAZING box in the mail today from MissB…

Finally, after 2 weeks of going ghost, my package from MissB came in, packed full of delicious goodies! I’ve spent the majority of the day sampling my way through the box, and it was definitely worth the wait! Thank you so much MissB!
In the past few days I have received a wonderful swap package from MzPriss. She included some amazing teas which I am very excited to try! I also received samples from Nina’s Paris. After a crazy two weeks I FINALLY get to sit down and really enjoy some tea!

I got my Capital Tea Ltd order today!
I restocked Borsapori Assam (still my favourite and it resteeps beautifully) and Lumbini estate Ceylon.

Two of which are very generous samples.

They have new promotions every week and they have some new batches/new teas coming in in June, perhaps then;). I’m the same . I’m eyeing some purchases I really don’t need to make right now, but the temptation is huge!

I also received my first tea scale. It is so adorable, and it seems to work very well—and came with a ten-year warranty though it cost only $8 (on Amazon)! I have decided to use one of the Upton Tea Imports sample tins (made of aluminum) as my tare container. Now I’ll finally know how much tea I am using in every pot, instead of relying on the highly unreliable teaspoon method.
Just measuring out a couple of examples today, I realized that 5 grams is more than I usually use, though many people recommend 5 grams as an appropriate portion for a small pot for multiple steepage…
