my H$S order of Nahorhabi Assam and some samples.
I bought 2 ounces of the Tippy Yunnan (the office is dangerously close to Harney)… I am very much looking forward to reading your tasting note for it. I don’t know what I think of it yet.
I think I should try it right now. I tried Keemun Mao Feng it was too subtle for me. Maybe I should change parameters.
Well, i tried it and i dont like it. just finished the review. maybe its me today. My taste buds are off. Weird .
Yeah… it’s not the best… It reminds me of a really acidic Zheng Xiao Shan Zhong… I’m not sure why it’s described as not being smoky. :/
After being in bed sick all day I was met with a lovely(and very large) Butiki order. Drinking Lemon Macaroon now. Yum.

Lemon Macaroon was lovely but I probably should have waited till I could smell properly for a more delicate tea. So I’ll wait to review until I’m a bit less sick
I’ve already tried the Blackberry Lime Guayusa though and couldn’t help but review it’s yummyness. Thanks for adding it to the line up.
I want to try them all but not die of a caffeine overdose so maybe I should switch to herbal soon.

I got a BIG order from Persimmon Tea today. I’m soo excited! I’m bad though, I haven’t even sampled all the teas I got from my last big tea order.
My internet usage has been sporadic as of late, so this is going up a few days after the fact… But on Saturday, I received a surprise box from the lovely ifjuly…. A tea friend in real life (we’re states away, but I feel like this lady lives next door….and, she helped me pass Chemistry in high school forever ago….ugh, CHEMISTRY!…now I have Jawbreaker stuck in my head, and that’s not a bad thing…ok, getting off topic here…). Anyway, she sent a box full of the most wonderful things! Lupicia, Butiki, Mandala, Harney & Son’s, Mariage Freres, Shang silver needle, Sultan’s Delight (american tea room), and on and on….. I’m in tea heaven right now. Tea friends…there’s nothing like them. <3
The first round of my Mariage Freres 2014 Darjeeling Spring Samples arrived today. 7 in all.
Got some new lacquered containers as well.
Will be doing a lot of tasting in the next few weeks.
